Recap… Our goal since opening our clinic has been to use our didactic knowledge along with technology to provide personalized care for our patients.  This blog series will outline new technology we have added to provide better care & education to our patients. The Medmont Corneal Topographer is the Gold Standard in its class. This tool has allowed us to better screen & manage diseases and conditions of the front of the eye, including the cornea.
Medmont Gold Standard

The Medmont corneal topographer is the Gold Standard.

Indications for this test include astigmatism, keratoconus, corneal ectasia, cornea transplants, radial kerectomy and more!  Dr. Anh uses the corneal topographer when fitting & re-evaluating orthoK eye retainers.  Dr. Anthony uses the corneal topographer when monitoring & fitting scleral contact lenses. In addition, high resolution pictures of your eyes, allows us to capture, evaluate & store a snapshot of your eye health for future comparisons.
