Retainer Healthy Lens Guide Orlando, FL
The OrthoK retainer lenses are a great way to control myopia (nearsightedness) & gain independence from traditional eye glasses and/or contact lenses. BUT you need to follow proper retainer cleaning & handling methods.
Step 1
Handling Your Lenses
- Wash your hands thoroughly with soap & water.
TIP: Sing the ABCs (this will ensure you wash your hands long enough).
Hand Wash
- NEVER use tap water to rinse or clean your retainers or lens case. Tap water can have microorganisms & bacteria that cause severe & difficult to treat infections.
